The Pullstarter was born out of a simple but powerful inspiration — family. Our founder watched his grandfather, a man who had always been strong, capable, and independent, begin to struggle with the physical demands of pull-start engines as he grew older. Though still mobile and active, his grandfather no longer had the same strength and found himself frustrated with the tugging, straining, and risk of injury that comes with traditional pull cords.

Wanting to preserve his grandfather’s independence — and recognizing that countless others face the same challenge — our founder set out to design a better way. The solution had to be simple, safe, and practical. After testing, refining, and reimagining what starting an engine could look like, The Pullstarter was created.

By adapting something nearly everyone already has — a cordless drill — The Pullstarter transforms the experience of starting small engines. No more painful yanking, no more limitations. Instead, it gives people of all ages and abilities the freedom to confidently start their equipment with just a trigger pull.

What began as a personal project to help one grandfather has grown into a product with the potential to help thousands reclaim ease, comfort, and independence in their everyday lives.
